VRI Insurance (Vehicle Replacement Insurance)
This product covers the difference in what your Insurance company would give you if your new car or second hand car was written off and what you orginally paid for the car.
EG. Ann bought a new Astra for €22,000 and two or three years later, her car was involved in an accident and was written off. Ann was expecting to get €22,000 from her insurance company but only received €14,000. Ann is now €8,000 out of pocket.
If Ann had VRI, she would have to pay nothing to get back into that same car. The Vehicle Replacement Insurance would cover the difference.
